One year ago (Y is a fourth year nearing the end of interview season):
- Traveling around the country sounds great to me; Y is just confused and ready for it to be over.
- Does delivering a baby change a person?
- Flying with a know-it-all med student is BAD. NEWS. BEARS.
Two years ago (Y is a third year. I don't see much of him):
What I remember most about med school is the PARTIES! SO many parties.

ReplyDeleteActually, I just thought about my first med school party, which ended with me vomiting pizza in our driveway. Nope, don't miss it.
DeleteMy husband is entering his second term of medical school. The things that no one told us during term one seems like history now.. But, it would have been somewhat helpful to have some hints. Somethings -no amount of advice could have prepared us for. Now, we know how to manage the busses- we found a better place to live, we know where to buy what on the island, etc. It really does make all the difference in the world.
